Captures moments
Nobody else
Can see.
The weight of it
In my hands,
The strap
Around my neck.
A shield
From the world,
An extra eye,
Something with feeling.
The cool
Black plastic,
On my
Fingertips.
The click
of a lens--
The exhilaration of
The perfect picture.
A memory
Captured forever
In pixels
And ink.
