Echoes of Goodbye

Voices are echoing goodbye as you walk away from me
I’m sad that you are leaving me, for so long
Even though it is only a week
It feels like an eternity waiting for my baby to return back
This time around it feels much harder to let you go
We are so much closer than I would have ever imagined
And now we have to say good bye for a long time
Please don’t forget about me
Just like how I won’t forget the voices echoing goodbye as you walk away
