The End of an Era
I wish I could say
  that I was picking up a pencil to write this
  because pencils somehow
  convey
  the heart and soul of writing 
 so much more than the 
 cold
  robotic 
 noise of a
  keyboard.
  I wish I could hear 
 the sound of the pencil pacing evenly 
 across the page and then 
 racing- 
 racing-
  to the end 
 to finish 
 the story,
  my handwriting deteriorating
  with the speed
