Karma
You met her years ago
 You were naïve,though
 To her wicked ways
 She set your life ablaze
And left you stranded in a daze
She abandoned you with a smack
 And never once looked back

Does that bring back a memory?
 Of how you left me?
 Does that remind you
Of how you shattered my heart in two?
I wasn't good enough back then
So why are you at my feet again?

I can see the hurt in your eyes
 A hurt I've felt,a hurt I recognize
She forsook you in the rain
You came to me to heal your pain
Came to me to make you sane
But I can't get in the path
 Of God and his wrath
 You reap what you sow
And I'm sure by now,you know

Am I suppose to be there for you?
Am I suppose to give you a redo?
Am I suppose to fall for that trick again?
Am I suppose to believe you're a new man?
 I don't think so
 I can't believe
Because I met you years ago
 And I'm not so naïve
