Shiver
Dusk
Is such
A shivery word
Like a silver pebble dancing on dark water
A face in dusty rock
And a still, smooth, glassy black surface
That glimmers slightly
While the pebble rests in the liquid marble
Midnight
Is like
Deepness
Like never ending promises pouring out from the well of your soul
A velvet backdrop
An indigo tapestry of hazy dreams
Gives pause, and instills awe
And awakes the dreamer to dreaming anon
Silence
Is ever
A very loud word
An echo of longing
Dropping, falling, reaching into the chasm of desire
Pouring a rivulet of tears
To match the even breathing of your chest
Further, farther
Echos
Darkness
Silver pebble shivering among the stars
