Time for Equality
You’re over there taking
As if you’re better than me
 Thinking you’re always right
Never even giving me a chance
 Or seeing if we agree
You think you need to be better at everything
As if it’s some kind of law
 Never wanting to admit
You just got beat by a girl
 You say you’re tougher
 More “macho” and strong
But what you don’t understand is
 Holding back your tears
 Will only make you weaker
You feel the need to protect
 All of us girls
 But we are perfectly capable
 Of fighting our own battles
 Smarter than you think
 Stronger than you know
 It’s time you stopped
 Underestimating
 And accepted us as equals
