I missed my aortas exploding
with the sound of your voice,
the push of your lips,
the feel of your hands.

when you were gone
my life was over.
It happened just like a blink.

then gone.

to my head.
'Cause that's what you did to me.
You carved my heart
right out of my chest,
with your quick moments
and swift hands on the trigger.
