It amazes him
That I am still here
With you-
Or at all
He doesn't know of all those nights
When we lay together
Searching for a shooting star to wish upon
Or when you kiss me so sweetly
I forget that there is a world
Beyond you and I
He doesn't know
That you are the only person to break me
And put me right back together again
All he can see are your mistakes
Coloured across my skin

Abuse is never okay but I wanted to show how warped an abuse victims perspective on the whole situation can be.
