At the touch of love, everyone becomes a poet.

Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.

A poem is never finished, only abandoned.

Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.

I'm painting a picture
with the colors inside me.
Black, for the sorrow I've felt.
Red, for the love he gives.
Yellow, for my curiousity.
Green, for my earthy humor.
Purple, for my creativity.
Blue, for the tears I've cried.
The splatter painting
on the wall is a jumbled
mess of emotions.
Just like me.
I clean off the wall
and put all my colors
back inside of me.
I bottle my emotions
back up where they have been
for three years.
There they are and
there they stay...
Forever.

Thank you. I realized that my emotions could be represented through colors and that is how I got the idea for the piece.

"Why are you so busy trying to fit in when you were born to stand out?"

Wow, this poem is beautiful! It is the perfect combonation of pain, emotion, and beauty. I have never thought of bottling emotions in terms of a painting but this is very clever and relevant. Well done!
