Rainbow Glass Heart

My heart is like rainbow glass
A beating, breathing kaleidoscope
Ocean waves are rolling past
Bluebirds will take me home

Lullabies hung on the breeze
My heart hums the bouncing rhythm
Bluebird houses in the trees
Sunlight through a prism

In my heart of rainbow glass
Welcome to my humble home
Butterflies flitter past
Into the moving kaleidoscope

Colors rare in sweet starlight
Fill my soul with wonder and love
All my candles burning bright
Bluebirds look down from above

My heart is warm as rainbow glass
Beating, breathing kaleidoscope
Spring is gone and summer's passed
Now the song will sing me home

At the children's museum of Indianapolis, there's this beautiful ceiling made from brightly colored glass shapes, and a huge rainbow glass sculpture. Look it up.

Your heart is a weapon the size of your fist. Keep fighting. Keep loving.

I like this! it's very whimsical and the rhythm adds to the almsot lullaby-esque feel of it. Keep writing! and if you have time, could you please check out my novel, Spirit Bound? Thank you and good job again :)
