You gave me such beautiful roses
But now the curtain closes
I guess you're not the one
As now our time is done
Away from me you've gone
So now it's time that I move on
You are not ready
To keep a relationship steady
A promise you have broken
About time that I have spoken
The time flew by so fast
They said it would never last
They were right
I tell myself every night
That all you had said was untrue
And that I'm not meant for you
I figure the day you'd ever lie
Is the day my roses die
