He was God and I Needed Him
I slew a father without eyes
 because I was God and oh
 I know he needed me

 I slew a daughter without legs
 because I was God and oh
 I know she needed me

 I slew a lover without ears
 because I was God and oh
 I know he needed me

 I slew a family without heart
 because I was God and oh
 I know they needed me

 I met a man without flesh
 and he told me he didn’t
 like me playing him;

 He took away my eyes, legs,
 ears, and heart, and left me
 with nothing but flesh
