Tick tock time goes on
As you wake with every dawn.
The blue sky outside awaits you
As does the fresh morning dew.
Tick tock time moves fast
In our hands we have a past.
The pain, the joy, the memories,
Of heartache, love and apologies.
Tick tock time may bend
Only after you've reached the end.
Right after your final breath
And you have made it past DEATH.
Tick tock time goes on
Even after you are gone.
But still you always stay
Through our memories everyday.
Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock,
Time itself is an everlasting clock.
