“Your lucky enough to be different, never change” -Taylor Swift

From a distance you see me
Physically never mentally,
What you see is not the person I wish to be,
People say I'm selfish, liar, anything you could imagine.

Sometimes I think maybe I am all of those things they tell,
Its not like I’m trying to be.
My intentions are well,
I swear.

When I was younger,
I wanted to be a princess,
Or maybe a something with a hunger,
For helping cancer patients.

They think I act like a princess,
I don’t think I do.
I’m really just a mess,
They don’t know the real me.

Very applicable to the lives of teens, but you might want to clarify a few thoughts and develop them more. I like your writing, but I think you could take it a few steps further. Nice work on bringing up such a pressing issue of teenhood--real identity. Would you please comment on my poems titled Mind's Eye and Amidst Blinding Chaos?

hey! the poem is very honest and it really sounds like it came from your heart. it is definitely true to its concept. although, i do think it needs a little bit of work and you could improve on the flow and phrasing. but apart from that: great work and keep writing :D

oh, and by the way, your comment has not reflected on my page. pls go back and check it out and possibly re-comment . thanks a million :D
