I am the
persistent flow of
looped handwriting
scrawled on the stark bleachers.
small but visible
quiet and tame
traced, formed, frayed into the
ambiguous crowd of others.
sat on and smoothed
by the onlookers, shepherds, and social.
but decisive and strong
when compared to other styles
though untouched, confined, and sheltered
you'll find me among the
delicate, wise, and original
with carelessly looped e's
and dominate l's
slanted, scripted, and slender
I am the persistent
flow of handwriting.
