Eternity
seems just to me
only a little while
I would stay
lost in your ray
that beautiful yet daunting smile

the things we’ve done
up under the sun
our memories stuck in my mind
we didn’t quite think
we just let ourselves sink
it’s evident we truly were blind

had we just seen, during that long held kiss
that our high hopes dream, would come down to this
we could have reversed this fate
but I truly do feel, if we had not let go
those feelings so real, that time would show
our memories wouldn’t be so great

so that is why, I do not regret
the time that went by, from the moment we met
Instead I just smile and stare
