To be a good surgeon you have to think like a surgeon, emotions are messy, tuck them neatly away and step into a clean sterile room, where the procedure is simple, cut suture, and close. But sometimes your faced with a cut that won't heal, a cut that rips the stitches right open

Now that I think about it, it’s kind of funny. How one fiery inferno can destroy your life. Stealing all the hard copies of memories from its victim. How one blazing flame can take the face of a victim, or maybe even the life of one. We are just too careless. We can control these most of the time. We can “prevent” these from time to time. It is a thief. Leaving only our minded memories for us.

What might I be? What can I be? What do I mean? To you. To my victims. To society.

I was reading the newspaper and saw a story about a family who lit fireworks and burned their house down which inspired me to write this story.
