Barefoot Summer Love
I used to run barefoot though the soft summer grass.
Chasing after glowing Lightning Bugs
As the radiant sun set on the horizon.
The fresh night air mixed with the lingering scent of charcoal grills
Putting the sweet taste of summer in my mouth.
Collapsing from exhaustion
I would lay back and gaze at the stars
As the crickets sang.
