Drive By Wealth
Miles away from home
metaphorically
Just a drive up the road
in reality
passing by huge mansions
estates, castles fro the wealthy
make a U-turn
wave goodbye mother says
because you'll never make it
never live the life
always lowly
but proud
strong
but not enough
richer than the poor
but poorer than the rich
a lower middle class existence
