In the Secret Garden

There was once a secret garden,
Where I would hide alone.
My thoughts and feelings would empower me,
Show me what was missing.
In that secret garden
Its beauty was indescribable.
With flowers dancing in the sunlight,
Tree’s with lonely trunks and strangled branches,
And grass that whispered to you,
Filling you up with secrets.
Your mind would swirl beneath the stars
And an adventure was never far away.
In that secret garden
Smiles would come as quickly as they would go
And wet tears would barley grace your face.
For in that secret garden,
Your heart and mind are one.
