I love to sit with you
To feel the sky as it turns blue
To hear the grass as it grows tall
Together we can share it all
The birds are ending their sweet song
The butterflies won’t stay out long
The night is starting its entrance
And fireflies come out to dance
The crickets waltz before our eyes
The stars are singing lullabies
And then the break of dawn is near
The nightingale gives one last cheer
The moon gently says its goodbye’s
As the morning sun begins to rise
And I love to sit with you
Because I know you love me too
