Here, take my hand.
I felt a tug, I swear.
Yanks; pleads; cries.
I put trust in your lies.

I was used,
like a tissue after blowing.
Simply tossed,
like frivolous notes shot in the trash.

Here, my heart and courage.
I can help.
Stories; secrets; regrets.
Oh, those were just nets.

Nets, for my capture.
Congratulations on your success.
Scooped up; thrown back.
Over and over and over.

So here, here's nothing.
Thank you for the returns.
So now, this is done - loving cruelly.
So now, this is signed - yours truly.

A boy who claimed he regretted doing drugs, being a jerk, etc. and wanted help, but he made no effort to change.
