life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Golden hair floating on the surface

of the water.
His strong right arm straining

against the grimy tiled wall.
The other is wrapped lovingly

around my waist, holding us

together.
My limbs are tangled around him,

fighting for one more second

of this beautiful kiss.
My heart still beats as hard and

fast as it would if my toes

were curled around soil and my

face raised to the bright

sunshine.
There is sunlight here, too though.
Just a different kind.
It streams through our entangled

hair and dances on the rough

floor.
His eyelids flutter and long

eyelashes tickle my cheek.
I giggle and turn my head as a

stream of bubbles march out of

my throat.
His eyes open briefly and an auburn

eyebrow is cocked

questioningly.
I shake my head and lean back in

for one last underwater kiss.
