Courageous Girl
Teenage Girls take one look and talk,
But to my face, There lips are
held shut by a lock.
When I turn around and walk away,
All they can do is whisper and say,
Those six inch heels,
That long-legged h*,
The swing of her hips,
That skanky b**** has to go.
I’m a young girl,
Courageous.
Courageous Girl, that’s me.
It’s the confidence inside me,
That makes you stare.
Real from head to toe, what makes you think I care?
Rumors are spread and gossip is believed.
I shake my head, if only they could see,
It’s the joy in my smile,
The rhythm in my feet,
It’s my Double D’s,
That make the boys fall to their
knees.
I’m a young girl,
Courageous.
Courageous Girl, that’s me.
Scared by little,
Inspired by so much,
From grey to color,
For me it takes just one touch.
Never quiet and always loud,
Girls try, but always have to ask me how.
I say,
It’s the curve of my body
The ice in my eyes,
The strum of my fingers,
I’ll forever be the first place prize.
I’m a young girl,
Courageous.
Courageous Girl, that’s me.
My secret you may ask,
Its just who I am,
Its my beauty and strength,
That gets me, not boys, but a man.
From the twirl of my medium-sized dress,
To the length of my golden brown hair,
Its my happiness,
That you cannot compare.
I’m a young girl,
Courageous.
Courageous Girl, that’s me.
