Empty Words

These words are empty, without meaning or clause.
I simply say them to you, for no reason, just because.
And when I have empty words, my pencil flows fast.
Trying to write you off, hoping to forget the past.
But rhyming empty words, have no meaning to me.
For out of my empty mouth, comes my broken hearted plea.
Words written on paper have no meaning to me.
And when the love is gone,
These words are empty.
