I'm sorry that I hurt you
And caused you so much pain
We're no longer friends
And things can never be the same
I wish that we could go back
Back before we all changed
Back to when things were simple
Back to when no one had a care
Back to when our biggest life lesson
Was learning how to share
Back to when we'd run towards our mothers
Instead of running away
Back to when 'i'm sorry'
Was all you had to say
But I can't go back to that simpler time
I must look towards my future
And take ahold of whats mine
There are many things in my life
That I must learn to do
Starting off with this apology:
"I'm sorry, and I love you"
