A silent scream of absence
Reminds me why I’m empty
The constant reminder
Tells me why my strength is only weakness
And why my wealth is only worthless
Touch my glimmering golden skin
Do you feel anything?
Run your fingers through my pure-silk hair
Is it comforting?
Stare into my brilliant, marble eyes
Do you see anything?
All the beautiful shades of pain
Are what leaves me homeless
