Nice, beautiful green day.
Picnic by the soothing river.
Wonderful and delicious food.
Kids playing in the cold water.
Happy, joyful, serene.
And then screaming, hollering.
Panic and grief in the air.
One goes and the rest follows
like the bleeding sun.
The horror. The horror.
Six teens left my grasp
that terribly great day.
I could only sit and watch.
The horror. The horror.

Their was a group of families that got together almost every year to go picnic-ing. This year, some of the kids, who couldn't swim, went to deep into the arkansas and drowned. The innocent bystanders could only watch as one by one they plunged into the water. R.I.P.
