Hear me God…
For I don’t know what to do
Where to turn
Whom to run to
Hear me God…
For I feel as if I’m being crushed
Smothered
Beaten
Hear me God…
For my heart is heavy
Chained
Weary
Hear me God…
For I am ashamed that I feel so low
Devastated
Hurting
Hear me God…
For I know you are there to listen to the groans of my heart
Whimpering
Whining
Hear me God…
Catch my tear drops in your hand
Splashing
Accumulating
Hear me God…
As I say this prayer because there is nothing else I can say
Nothing else I can do
Nowhere else to turn
