Red sun, falling over, falling in.
You are the color of love,
of blood, of wine, of pomegranate.
I taste you Sun,
dripping down my throat,
Warm, wet, sick sweet.
Setting before my eyes,
you leave me every night.
Faithless, forgotten night,
full of your memory,
void of crimson shine.
Sun, our hearts became intertwined.
Two suns, two souls
wrapped in a coat made of dirt, of trust, of wool, of forever.
I see you, I sun you, I heart you,
I love you,
Rise for me, red sun,
color my insides.

This is a truly wonderful description of the sun. I absolutely love "I see you, I sun you, I heart you." I also absolutely love "Red sun, falling over, falling in."

This poem is one of my favorites of the ones I have read on this website so far. You have a magical sense of words. You described the sun beautifully, and I love the title.
