"Let us not look back in anger, nor foward in fear, but around in awareness."
-Dr. Suess

I am free.
I see wide open spaces as they stretch on and on.
I see the clear skys with very few clouds.
I hear wind blowing past my ears as I run as fast as I can.
I hear the peace and silence all around me, for there is no one.
I smell the sweet scent of the grass, for it is all around me.
I smell the clean, fresh air blowing past me.
I can go where ever I want, there are no limits.
I can be who ever I want, there is no one to judge me.
I taste the fields that go on and on.
I taste the sweet freedom, there is nothing to hold me back.
I feel the cool grass under my free feet.

I wrote this poem for one of my language arts projects. I enjoyed writing this poem because everytime I read it, it makes me feel like I can be who ever I want to.
