The Bar of Misery
Sitting at the bar
 where the jazz music plays
 he orders another cup
of the stuff that makes the pain
 go away
 his head hangs low
no hope for a better day
 the tunnels too long
with no light to show him the
 way
another cup is on the table
 five more on the way
 along with the bottle
of the best vodka in town
 to burn his troubles away
 he's a father and a husband
with no work that will pay
so he turn's to the bottle
to bring light to his darkened day
