Stupid Song
As I’m driving in my car
I turn the radio up
I hear the song that use to be ours
So I change the station quickly
Wasn’t long ago when it all started changing
I miss you so much and wish you were here
But it’s almost impossible
You went your way, and I my own
I look at the sky, and start to remember
All because of that stupid song that came on
Remember the late nights
And hanging out at the park
I’m still unhappy about the choices we made
But we can’t go back, no how, no way
DAMN, why did that song just have to come on?
I hate how every little thing reminds me
Of what we used to have
It makes me mad and it makes me sad
Part of me was tired of the games
But the other part still wanted you back
It was a week by week thing
Where I wasn’t sure if I’d still be around
I hate remembering and….
I hate that song
