Favorite Quote:
"I think that most of us, anyway, read these stories that we know are not "true" because we're hungry for another kind of truth: the mythic truth about human nature in general, the particular truth about those life-communities that define our own identity, and the most specific truth of all: our own self-story. Fiction, because it is not about someone who lived in the real world, always has the possibility of being about oneself. "
— Orson Scott Card

yellow room
soft corners
darkness outside
rain beating on the window
cold
sadness seeps in
(why did Mom leave the windows open?)
turn on more lights
put warm pictures on the wall
drive away the ennui
not enough
close the curtains
listen to reggae
Freshly Ground
warm music
put stars on the ceiling
anything to keep the shadows out
ancient maps of Africa
and South America
even Narnia (post witch)
hang from the walls
bright colours
keep them close all the time
even when you step into the
cold
grey
world
anything to stay sane in the
dark
too late
eccentricities increase
wear a hat from Wonderland
cheer up
spring is finally
Here
maybe
