Out of the window
I fling my soul.
Into the sunshine
From this place.
I float amongst my friends,
The clouds.
They call me to them,
Above the treetops.
We play a game of
Hide and Seek with the world.
"Where's Emily?" It asks.
"Olly Olly Oxenfree!"
I follow
The rules of the game.
Grumbling, my soul
Returns to my body.
I am stuck in this place.
