Reality of a Waterfall

From a distance:
looks as if the shimmering water is
gently gliding down past cliff's edge.
In reality
cold waves
dangerously crash down
among the sharp rocks.
The mist
showers plants.
Rainbows dance in the sky
sounds of water
carry across the land.
