Blue pools,
Ashy tears.
Trails to follow.
When your not here.
Follow the ash

Don’t get lost.

Drown in lullabies.
Inhale the ash.

Held too tight.
Now she's gone.


Losing breath,
Lungs collapse.
In the smoke.
Of burning dreams.


Lost yourself?
Not a chance.

You can't lose what's not there.


Burning up,

Burning out.
Ignore the smoke.
Follow the ash.



Mind over matter..
Or is it the other way around?



Burning up,
Burning out.
Ignore the smoke,
And smile.

The author's comments:
The title: Suivre les cendres literally translates into "follow the ash" ..
