These days these times are full of trouble.
Sometimes I wonder is this as good as it’s going to get.
But when I look at you I’m there.
And I know that what we have is clear.
Because we’ve been up, we’ve been down, we’ve been hurt so many times before.
People told us that it’s over, before we’ve even began to soar.
But when overcame the haters, and the words they say to scorn,
And at the end of the day,… we already know that we’ve got love…
What we have is so promising.
Love takes time to take wing.
But when we get there it feels so great,
To know that love made me feel this way.
