Stop This Madness

I cannot stop the madness
that causes this high
Drugs.
Alcohol.
I have done it all.
You see me deal with
this evil
Yet, you stop
Stare
Do absolutely nothing at all.
This monster has me captured.
Has me
Everyone fooled.
Something has turned
Making me want to stop
To really stop this time.
However
It has occured to me
That I cannot.
I am foolish
To think that I
Could try
Stop
The madness.
