Distressed

A thousand miles,
A hundred feet,
Between you and me.

A thousand words,
A hundred moments,
And a silent plea.

Swirling and unfurling,
Emotions unfeeling,
Words lost in the distance,
Unreachable, unspeakable,

Always and forever.
These I must endeavor.

Wow! I love this! It really gets across that distressed emotion and it is very beautifully said. Very nice :)

i agree, you don't know exactly what or who the distressed person is talking about or where they are..you just get the imagery that there is an absence and a longing.

AMAZING POEM! I think you have a very creative and brilliant use of rhymes and vocabulary.

I love this! It's really well written and conveys real emotion. I've totally been there. I wonder if you were talking about losing a friend or about a crush?
