Mother Earth
MOTHER EARTH

We're fleas biting and sucking the life from her.
Oh, mother, mother what have we done?
And when you shudder under our destructive construction
We pray to God and ask oh, why?
 Why so many drones, they are but mere children;
hungry screaming children with mouths gaping and beady black eyes.
Oh, pity us when a tidal wave comes crashing down,
When a funnel from your skies sucks the life in which we've drained,
When your back shakes and we're all falling
Falling into a pit of misery and woe.
But God, oh God, where are you?
We are but your meager servants why will you not help us?

Mother mothers scorn is the fiery eyes of seething hate.
GET OFF OF ME she screams.
But we only dig our claws deep into her writhing spine
Oh how mother screams GET OFF OF ME, GET OFF OF ME
But we only clamp down our razor sharp teeth and begin to suck,
We suck until our bodies are gorged and mother’s blood runs down our chins.
 But we are not done...
 Never satisfied with our fill
We begin to build, build, BUILD.
We cut and stab deep into mother ignoring her desperate pleas.
Until finally mother mothers seething hate is all that’s left to decide our fate.

She calls to the waters of the sea
She digs deep, deep, deeper until she reaches the bottom and throws it at we fleas.
 The water fills our cities our towns our homes;
 We run, we scream.
Our gaping mouths search for air but they're already filled with mother’s blood.
Our beady black eyes turn white with death
Oh, mother, mother what have we done?

Her scornful wrath not yet satisfied mother looks to the sky.
The wind it whips, it twists, it sways.
It’s black as night, it howls at its prey
Nipping and biting at our heels were sucked into its oblivion
Never getting a chance to think or feel.
Oh, mother, mother what have we done?

At long last mother hums and arches her mighty spine.
Cracks ring out through the air and fire shoots out from below.
We run in panic but every step we take we shake and fall
 We’re crushed and mangled.
Our bodies lay sprawled out… ashen eyes white with death…mouths gaping.
We’re falling, falling into a pit of misery and woe.
Oh, mother, mother what have we done?

I hope people will notice that I've included all the natural disasters in this work to show that this is the only way Earth is able to stay alive.
