Bubblegum Clouds
Bubblegum clouds pass me by,
Pink and blue dancing in the sky,
Early morning on the rise,
Oh, how they wave in leisurely delight,
The gray horizon yawned at the morning light, Half woken and half asleep,
I forget all that surrounds me, Overtaken by a drowsy memory, To another world, at dawn, I creep
Yet, in an instant, the hope decays, Too quickly it is lost, as always, Back to the place that was led astray, My burning prison forever,
I am here to stay,
Of hope, not a flicker,
Of change, not a sight, Kindness but a bringer of plight,
Through sleepless nights and wasted days, I beg and pray-
Oh cruel reality, I must break free, Someone, please help me,
But in the end, it is all pointless,
Wouldn’t you agree?

“Bubblegum Clouds” poem is a powerful reflection of human struggle, capturing the fleeting nature of hope and the weight of despair. The dreamy morning sky symbolizes brief escape, only for reality to pull the speaker back into a feeling of entrapment and hopelessness. It echoes the way many feel—longing for change but trapped in cycles of suffering. A true mirror of human emotion, it sheds light on the silent battles within, making the reader question if escape is even possible.
