TW: suicide

Deep Diver, stay a little while longer,

The sea doesn’t hold the solace you seek,

You walk along the shoreline every day,

Looking at the vastness of the ocean,

Don’t overlook those precious grains of sand,

You might remember,  something that matters,

If not, then recall if you ever saw,

That strange expression, in a reflection,

Perhaps, in a faraway memory,

Stay, if only to glimpse at it again

The author's comments:

This poem presents a gentle,  thoughtful plea to someone who has lost hope and  requests them to pause and reconsider. The "Deep Diver" symbolizes an individual contemplating suicide.

The poem encourages the deep diver to notice small but significant moments of life asking the Deep Diver to stay and rediscover their own meaning.
