Golfers Goodbye
Packed my clubs in a hurry.
To get to the course bright and early.
Sounds of birds chirping and the wind whirling ;
The sight of groundskeepers working.
On grass as green as cash.
Had to get to the first tee in a dash.
With my mind on trying not to slice,
I had to practice swing twice.
Ball soaring in the sky,
Heading towards the water in a fly.
It may be time to wish my golf ball goodbye.
