The lights remind me.
The lights of the blue moon remind me of the 4 am walks with my dad sliding on our jackets and slippers in a bid to stay warm while we walk to the park in an attempt to see the big blue moon without the houses blocking my vision.
The lights of the firepit remind me of the summer nights after a long day of boating, the smell of barbeque taking over the air.
The lights of the street lamp remind me of the two a.m. walks to the park, and deep talks on the swingset
The lights of my leaves candle remind me of the fall nights filled with Gilmore girls, the smell of apple cider, and heated blankets consuming me.
The lights of the sun remind me of the summer boating days, the feeling of the sun on my skin, and the water splashing on my face.
The lights in the people I love eyes remind me of why I wake up every morning
