You
Life squeezes me, it doesn't choke me, it kills me slowly
a constant reminder of what is still waiting for us
But as I wait, I see a strip of you
And as I uncover you my ships happen to sink
In a way, I've never seen
I know I should flee but yet
This rabbit hole is to deep
your eyes to see, your lips to kiss
What good is it if I can't have you here?
I am a defrauded child with a cape of mature Cortez
Looking for someone I guess
Gosh, I'm a mess
And as my tears come to fall
I finally come to sense
I'm simply waiting for you
It is not my moment
Nor is it yours
It's of us
But all I can do as of now
Is to stay looking for the path that keeps me beside you
