Hurricane
“It’s over.”
Said her favorite person
She had dropped all her friends
All for a guy
What would she do
How could she live
Without any love left to give
Every day spent with him
Suddenly gone
As the memories flood back
She drowns in them
Hurricane from the past
Who would've knew we wouldn't last
She thought
She pondered
Then realized
Her friends had been by her side
But she pushed them away
Further and further each day
Now all alone
What could she do
But drown in the flood from the hurricane everyone had predicted but herself.
