Feeling Grey
Feeling Grey
Grey is two colors, black & white
Made from the darkness after the day
And the light after night
Grey isn’t heavy and dense like black
Nor is it light and comfy like white
Grey has been through some things
And has been on both sides of the fight
Grey is the peace between black and white
Grey understands
Grey knows
White brought life
Black took those who had to go
Grey is the living
Walking amongst the unknown
We all have our periods of black
The heartache
The depression
Everything bad
But we all know white as well
The happiness
The light
An enchanting spell
Grey is both
A rollercoaster of emotions
Highs in the clouds
Lows as deep as the oceans
Ohh Grey
You know everything can't be white
But it can’t be black either
So when it gets dark you put up a fight
The elegant mixture of black and white
A peace that is unknown unlike white
A rage transformed just right
