Time and death hold hands
When I was roughly, fourteen, my friend at the time texted me that her uncle had passed away. Of course, I offered my help as I know the feeling of death of a love one. Relatively close, because it was also my uncle who passed also. Anyways I asked her what happened, and she told me she wasn’t sure because the autopsy was scheduled for the following week. I told her it couldn’t be a health reason cause because Uncle Jim was always healthy, she agreed tensely. She asked me if I could keep a secret, this obviously intrigued me due to my fascination with the afterlife at the time, so I urged her to continue. She Explained that he, instead of saying a final goodbye, he whispered one word “Dream”. She, in distress, didn’t get what he was saying and while in mourning couldn’t understand why he chose what he did. She was afraid to ask anyone because she was the only one in the room before it became flooded with woman in white clothes. I asked her maybe he was going to visit in her dreams, joking of course, although I had a few theories going. I assume she took this into deep thought because I hadn’t received a text from her the following night or morning, me being an introvert I gave her space and waited for her to approach the situation. About a week later she called me to tell me she dreamed of him the night prior, I excitedly asked her what about. She went silent and said, “He told me to live life to the fullest because, everything goes black”. A few days later the autopsy office had called her mother, they told her this was a suicide case.
