I say with a face so brave knowing you won’t understand
Holding on tight that these words fade from your mind like when ocean meets sand
Tu es tres jolie
Your Mandarin doesn’t translate the French I serenade you with
I want you to see me valiant like a hero in a myth
Tu est mon amour
Of course, I know my words are hidden in foreign tongue
So my secret sentences will be in French when sung.
